Friends of The Arts Centre Gold Coast

The Friends is a not-for-profit organisation, of nearly 2000 members, providing support to The Arts Centre Gold Coast, and to individuals seeking to pursue a career in the Arts.

We have regular social activities for members, who also enjoy discounts at the Arts Centre. Over the last 25 years, we have been able to assist the Arts Centre, iincluding the Gallery, with donations of over $200,000 – mainly obtained through membership fees.  

We are a major sponsor of youth events having donated $113,000 to the Summer School program over the last 12 years, and this year assisting the Arts Centre to establish ‘TACGC  Friends Youth Arts Academy’ as part of its inaugural 2012 Youth Program with a contribution of $20,000.   For further details of the Friend’s support of The Arts Centre refer to the Annual Report.

In 2006 we established a Gift Fund to assist individuals seeking to pursue a career in the Arts through scholarships. (Donations to this fund are tax deductible.)

Enjoy discounts for shows, Cinema tickets, food and wine discounts at Cafe Arts, advance notice of upcoming events through our bi-monthly newsletter, and special events organised by the Friends’ Board.

Youth Arts Academy
