The Memorandum of Association and Articles of the Company were updated and we now have a new modern company constitution which was passed by special resolution and adopted at the AGM earlier this month. Welcome to Friends of The Arts Gold Coast
The Friends of the Arts is a not-for-profit organisation, which has more than 2000 members who share a common interest in the arts. The Friends grew from a small group formed in 1968 campaigning for an Arts Centre on the Gold Coast. It continues its support of the Arts by making donations to HOTA projects, including youth programs, from funds raised through membership fees.
The Friends also has a Gift Fund, supported by private donations, that provides annual grants to emerging young artists on the Gold Coast.
Members of Friends enjoy a range of outstanding benefits, including reduced priced tickets to selected shows, low priced cinema tickets, and discounts at the Arts Cafe. The Friends also hold regular social events for members including cocktail parties, pre movie gatherings and special occasions.
Annual Friends membership is $50 for a double ticket and $35 for a single.
